Sharing this well written article about the value of practicing well.  Coming from a Manhattan School of Music pre-college background, my experience was similar but I didn't appreciate the practice skills I gained until my post-high school days.  Hopefully others will take this to heart!

A Season of New Things

With the start of school comes the desire to start fresh and new.  Trying to set up a central location where notes, practice tips, videos, recordings, fun and interesting things related to piano and music can be found.  Hopefully, this can be a place my students can come and find links to listen to music, where parents and students can both find news and updates to their lesson notes.

Learning how to set up a blog feels daunting right now.  But I hope to get this started soon!
